Albino Armani and his father are the prime movers in reviving Foja Tonda, one of the oldest known indigenous varietals in Italy. It ripens early and is therefore perfectly suited to the cold climate ot the Vallagarina, a sub-zone of the Valdadige. Albino Armani, the owner of this estate, has rediscovered the forgotten grape of Foja Tonda. Foja Tonda is a delicately aromatic, unique wine. Excellent with roast lamb, red meats and pastas with red sauce.
